She invested a lot of money to establish an in-depth R&D biotech firm. Later, she has been listed as India’s 54th richest person and 65th powerful woman in the world in 2019. Ritu Kumar is an Indian fashion designer who has done her schooling at Loreto convent and completed her graduation from Lady Irwin College. After that, she was rewarded with a scholarship at New York, where she pursued her art history. She started her fashion career in Kolkata. Earlier, she used to make bridal wear and evening clothes. After getting a lot of experience, she decided to move to the International market. Today, she is running her business in different countries.
